Wipro Selects VLSI and System Design Services from Cadence

Cadence Design Systems (India) Pvt Ltd., the Indian subsidiary of Cadence Design Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: CDNS) announced that Wipro Technologies, the global IT services division of Wipro Limited (NYSE:WIT) and also the world’s largest independent R&D services provider, has chosen Cadence for its VLSI and System Design services business portfolio.

The move streamlines design technology operations and establishes Cadence tools and flows across the organization, thus increasing efficiency and minimizing costs for its operations. Adopting some of the new technologies from Cadence, Wipro further expands its EagleWision methodology to get more power optimization while enhancing its integrated chip-package-board analysis and modeling design approach.
