TenAsys Corporation, a provider of real-time operating system software technology for Intel(R) Architecture computers, is pleased to announce that Intel Corporation has recognized the company as Intel Communications Alliance Member of the Year for 2006 at the Affiliate level.

The Intel Communications Alliance is a community of over 300 communications and embedded system developers and solutions providers committed to the development of modular standards-based solutions using Intel technologies. The Alliance members’ hardware and software technologies help embedded system designers speed development cycles, cut costs and solve design problems. Markets served by the group span a broad range including industrial automation, communications, commercial, medical systems, and test and measurement.

“This award is given to recognize the efforts of Alliance members who have demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting Intel advanced platform technologies and promoting these solutions to the embedded market segment,” said Jim St. Leger, director, Intel Communications Alliance, Intel. “TenAsys’ major commitment to delivering virtualization technology on Intel(R) Core(TM) microarchitecture processors positions them well for use in embedded systems of the future.”

About TenAsys
Founded in 2000 and headquartered in Beaverton, Oregon, TenAsys delivers real-time technology, tools, and services based on the embedded computer industry’s most popular processors and operating systems. TenAsys’ technology has enabled the virtualization of operating environments since 1990 with DOS-RMX, which at the time was marketed directly by Intel for use on Intel’s processors. The company’s INtime(R) software, first announced in 1997, has become a leading RTOS used in Microsoft(R) Windows(R)-based systems.

In 2006, Microsoft recognized TenAsys as its Windows Embedded Partner of the Year, ISV category, for the third year in a row. Cited for its efforts as an independent software vendor in enhancing the performance of Microsoft’s Windows operating system for mission-critical, real-time applications; TenAsys is the only software company to receive this award three years in a row. TenAsys’ INtime software was also the first RTOS to be fully-integrated within the Microsoft Visual Studio(R) development environment.

TenAsys, INtime and iRMX are registered trademarks of TenAsys Corporation. Intel, Intel Core and the Intel logo are trademarks or registered trademarks of Intel Corporation or its subsidiaries in the United States and other countries.
