India’s largest networking event for entrepreneurs, investors and business leaders will be held from September 20 – 22, 2006 at the ISB Campus in Hyderabad and will feature prominent Venture Capital Firms, Business Leaders and over 400 participants from around the world. The event will be inaugurated by Dr. Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Shri M M Pallam Raju, Hon’ble Minister of State for Defence, Govt. of India will also be present during the occasion. The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) and The Wadhwani Centre for Entrepreneurial Development (WCED) at the ISB, are jointly organising the 3 day event.
For the first time, TiE – ISB Connect 06 will hold discussions on entrepreneurial opportunities in 5 new industry tracks. These new industry tracks are Sports and Fitness, Retail, Media and Entertainment, Infrastructure and Real Estate, Semiconductors. Along with these there will be industry tracks on Biotech / Pharmaceuticals, Internet Technologies, Technology, IT Enabled Services. This event will help identify the multiple entrepreneurial opportunities in these sectors in the near future.

Over 40 Venture Capitalists with a combined venture fund of about $ 5 Billion from countries such as the USA, UK, Middle East and India will be present at the TiE- ISB Connect 2006 eyeing strategic and profitable investment opportunities. Some of the prominent ones are Ashish N Chandak (IDFC), Kishore Goteti (ICICI Ventures, Sameer Sood (Google), Rajesh Jog (Waygate Capital), and Vani Kola (NEA Indo-US).
