The following demonstrations will be at TI booth 714, highlighting the latest innovations from Texas Instruments.
- Chipcon CC2431 ZigBee SoC solution with location engine
The CC2431 with Location Engine is a true System-on-Chip solution for ZigBee(TM)/IEEE 802.15.4 wireless sensor networking
- 13.56MHz RFID Reader IC System
The TRF7960 is a highly integrated 13.56MHz RFID reader IC system that fits inside a quarter
- Complete motor control with analog front end and DSP controller
Illustrating industrial motor control solutions, this demo features the 12-channel/12-bit ADS7869 analog front end in a high performance motor control application using TI’s TMS320F2812 digital signal controller
- Fully Programmable Digital Power Solutions
TI will highlight its digital power solutions with demonstrations of the power factor correction and DC/DC development kits using the 32-bit fully programmable TMS320F28x digital signal controllers.
- Ultra-Low Power MCUs
As the industry’s lowest power MCU, the MSP430 consumes just 0.1 micro amp of power in standby mode and becomes fully active in only one micro second.
Free eZ430-F2013 Development Tool to first 2,000 attendees
Show organizer, CMP, will be giving away eZ430 USB-based development tools to the first 2,000 attendees. The eZ430 tools must be picked up onsite and are limited to ESC Boston conference attendees, exhibits plus pass attendees and the first 1200 exhibits attendees onsite. The development tool will not be shipped in advance. For more information, see go online.
With CMP, TI is co-sponsoring a world wide design challenge using the world’s lowest power MSP430 MCU. Users can test the MSP430 MCU and eZ430 development tool online using VirtuaLab technology, enter their design then evaluate their peers’ designs.
The eZ430-F2013 is a complete MSP430 development tool including all the hardware and software to evaluate the MSP430F2013 and develop a complete project on a USB stick. The eZ430-F2013 uses the IAR Embedded Workbench Integrated Development Environment (IDE) to provide full emulation with the option of designing with a stand-alone system or detaching the removable target board to integrate into an existing design. The USB port provides enough power to operate the ultra-low-power MSP430 so no external power supply is required.
