IPFlex Inc. today announced that Tata Elxsi, one of the largest product design services firms, has joined the DAPDNA Partner Program. Headquartered in Bangalore, with over 20 offices around the world and more than 2000 engineers in its four global design centers in India, Tata Elxsi will offer DAPDNA based solutions to its vast array of customers. The DAPDNA Partner Program aims to create valuable, first-to-market products using a dynamically reconfigurable processor (henceforth referred to as DRP) platform.
IPFlex DRP, based on DAPDNA technology, is a market leader in the next generation processor architecture. As the world’s first off-the-shelf DRP manufacturer, IPFlex already has multiple, DAPDNA-2 processor powered systems operating at customer sites.
Tata Elxsi, one of the largest product design and embedded services firms in the world, servicing customers in a wide range of industries, joins the DAPDNA Partner Program along with 15 other partners that are already part of the program.
“The IPFlex DAPDNA technology enables our signal processing system designers to better implement complex and sophisticated algorithms for areas such as high-end signal and image processing, software defined radio and high-performance re-configurable computing, providing a compelling proposition for our global customers in the video, imaging, consumer electronics, wired and wireless infrastructure space, for compact, high performance system development,” said Nitin Pai, Worldwide Head of Marketing for Product Design Services. “We are pleased to partner with IPFlex to bring this technology to our global customers.”
Koichi Hagishima, CEO of IPFlex commented, “More than five customers have started operating systems powered by DAPDNA technology. These customers are first in the world to start using off-the-shelf, commercial DRP. We expect an increasing demand for efficient design services for DRPs, and Tata Elxsi based in Bangalore, India, joined our DAPDNA Partner Program. Given their reach into various fields of technology, I expect an even faster adoption of DRPs.”
IPFlex plans to aggressively increase the number of Program partners in order to support the growing demand for DAPDNA technology.
