Microchip Technology Inc., a leading provider of microcontroller and analog semiconductors, announced a global network of Regional Training Centers (RTCs) to meet customers’ demands for more training more often. Engineers seeking to learn how to design with Microchip’s development tools and silicon products now have access to 32 local engineering labs in the Americas, Asia Pacific and Europe where they can attend hands-on workshops or seminars on a year-round basis.
Many engineers are looking to continuously improve their knowledge base and skill sets. Microchip’s RTCs offer a multitude of courses—covering a wide range of applications—that provide expert instruction in a small classroom setting on new design methodologies, board-level “tips and tricks”, and hands-on development tool projects that can make engineers more productive while increasing their own professional value. Additionally, this training can make attendees’ organizations more successful by speeding time to market and lowering total system costs.
“Microchip is committed to helping our customers succeed by providing the best possible support, and our new RTCs are yet another example of how we’re doing just that,” said Ken Pye vice president of Worldwide Applications Engineering at Microchip. “Microchip’s RTCs provide a tangible return on investment with relevant technical training that is developed and taught by our team of expert engineers.”
Each RTC offers a wide range of course topics for skills levels from beginner to advanced. For additional information on RTC locations or to register for courses go online.
