Mercury Computer Systems Ranks First in Embedded Defense Electronics

Mercury Computer Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: MRCY) announced that industry research firms Venture Development Corporation (VDC) and Electronic Trend Publications (ETP) each named Mercury as the market leader in embedded defense electronics in their most recent independent market research reports.

“Our COTS market research includes data from both the supply side; that is, the vendors, and the demand side, which is defense contractors and subcontractors,” said Eric Heikkila, Practice Director for Embedded Hardware at Venture Development Corporation. “Mercury’s position as the board-level VME COTS market leader is clearly established by our data, which shows Mercury making more than 25 percent of the board-level VME COTS shipments.”
