ArchPro Design Automation today announced a significant expansion with the opening of its new R&D Center in Bangalore. ArchPro is a leader in the development of EDA products for solving power management design challenges in IC/SoC designs and has introduced several innovative products over the past year.
“Power is the most pressing problem facing the IC design industry today,” said Pratap Reddy, ArchPro chairman and CEO. “We have engineered cutting edge power management technology and products out of our Bangalore R&D center over the past year. Now, as ArchPro reaches out to customers worldwide, we are expanding our India operation to scale with this growth.”
“We started with a small team to begin with and have grown since. We now plan to grow very rapidly in the next 12 months and are building a world-class development, engineering, and support team to effectively serve our customers across the globe,” said Puneet Jethalia, managing director, ArchPro India.
ArchPro will be a first-time exhibitor at DAC this July, Booth 2014.
ArchPro provides EDA products to meet low-power and multi-voltage design challenges facing 90/65nm SoC designers. Having launched many of the world’s first EDA products for power-managed, multi-voltage, low-power design environments that allow for design simulation, verification and implementation prior to silicon spins, ArchPro is paving the way toward reducing cost, risk, and time to market for chip designers. Products support all major complementary IC / SoC design technologies. Privately held ArchPro is based in San Jose, Calif., with sales and R&D centers in Tokyo and Bangalore.
