Kontron, an Intel Communication Alliance (ICA) Premier member, launches three new full-function industrial boards based on the Intel(R) 945G Express chipset. Combined with either the Intel(R) Pentium(R) D processor or Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 processor with Hyper-Threading Technology, Intel 945G Express chipset based platforms deliver outstanding system performance through high-bandwidth interfaces such as dual-channel DDR2 memory, 1066 MHz system bus, PCI Express and Serial ATA 3 Gbps.
Kontron’s new 945G products include an ATX industrial mother board, FlexATX industrial motherboard and a full-size PICMG 1.0 system host board. Supporting the Intel(R) Pentium(R) D and Pentium(R) 4 processor with HT Technology, the 945G chipset integrates the Intel(R) Graphics Media Accelerator 950 (GMA 950), providing high performance graphics and resolution up to 2048 x 1536.
Kontron’s newest ATX industrial motherboard – the ATX-945G – implements the 945G/ICH7 chipset with DDR2 667/533/400 MHz memory up to 4GB. Expansion slots include: PCI Express x16 graphics slot, PCI Express x1 I/O slots, PCI and ISA; Serial ATA 3 Gbps and Hi-Speed USB 2.0, Mini PCI, and Gigabit Ethernet.
The FlexATX-945G industrial motherboard features 1066/800/533 MHz front side bus, CPU clock speed up to 3.8GHz, PCI Express x16 discete graphics slot, PCI Express x1 and PCI I/O, DDR2 up to 2GB, Gigabit Ethernet, and SATA.
The PCI-756 is the latest industrial full-size system host board supports DDR2 memory up to 2GB, 24-bit LVDS with 1600×1200 resolution, four SATA interfaces with 3Gbps transfer rate, 7 USB 2.0 interfaces, and Mini PCI slot. The PCI-756 is designed to run Windows 2000/XP and Linux operating systems. VGA runs at 2048x1536x8bit at 75Hz resolution.
