WiMAX World Europe Conference and Expo has announced a series of special networking events and technology briefings that will be available to all conference and expo attendees May 22-24, 2006 in Vienna, Austria at the Austria Center Vienna. The conference and expo is the largest WiMAX event ever held in Europe. The conference program features over 80 speakers and focuses on operators and service providers' experiences with early WiMAX deployments.

Trendsmedia welcomes attendees and the press to participate in various dynamic and insightful networking events and technology briefings. A summary of these special network events can be found online.

MONDAY - MAY 22, 2006

  • WELCOME RECEPTION - 5:00PM
    Hosted by the WiMAX Forum and WiMAX Trends
    All attendees are welcome to the event's opening reception. It is a great opportunity to network with peers, unwind after a full day in conference workshops, and meet with key members of the WiMAX Forum. The reception will take place immediately following the conclusion of the days pre-conference workshops.

TUESDAY - MAY 23, 2006

  • CONFERENCE POWER BREAKFAST - 8:30AM
    Hosted by Motorola
    Attend the opening of the full conference with a morning "Power Breakfast" briefing. Continental breakfast will be served for all attending. This is a great opportunity to converse with peers, enjoy a convenient breakfast at the event, and hear from Motorola on a key WiMAX Briefing.
  • WIMAX WORLD TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS THEATER - 12:30 to 6:00PM
    Attend various briefings on the WiMAX World Europe Expo floor from DRAGONWAVE, INTEL, APERTO NETWORKS, NEXTNET WIRELESS and ERICSSON.
  • WIMAX WORLD EXPO RECEPTION - 5:15PM
    As we all know, many of the best relationships are built outside the normal business environment, and after normal business hours. This evening reception is an exceptional way to end a productive day, relax with colleagues and associates and forge profitable new relationships.

WEDNESDAY - MAY 24, 2006

  • WIMAX WORLD TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS THEATER - 11:00AM to 2:00PM
    Attend various briefings on the WiMAX World Europe Expo floor from REDLINE COMMUNICATIONS, WINETWORKS, FUJITSU, PICOCHIP and MOTOROLA.
