The new Kontron Product Guide 2006 is available from April 24 as an interactive mini CD and/or in printed form. The PDF, which is also interactive and is around 11 MB in size, can be downloaded immediately, where you can also order the printed version and the mini CD. The digital versions of the Product Guide are particularly handy as products are linked to their data sheets on the Internet, which are constantly updated. Other downloads are available online and inquiries can also be made directly to your local Kontron representative.
The 94-page Kontron Product Guide 2006 offers a comprehensive overview of Kontron’s entire product portfolio and key innovations. Innovations have been introduced in 16 product categories and are clearly indicated in the table of contents. What is more, compliance with the RoHS/lead-free EU directive is indicated for all products (RoHS = Restriction of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive).
The latest arrivals on the scene include new platforms based on Intel(R) CoreTM Duo processors as well as solutions for COM-Standards ETX 3.0, ETXexpress (COM Express) and microETXexpress. On the system level, innovations are seen in the area of MicroTCA, space-saving industry servers, DIN Rail PCs and HMI/Microclients. The rugged mobile computing section has new rugged displays and EX-protected solutions for the oil and gas industry.
