Kontron Unveils PCI-755 PICMG 1.0 SBC with Intel 915GV Express Chipset

Kontron Asia announces an Intel(R) 915GV Express chipset-based full size PICMG 1.0 SBC – the PCI-755. It features the Intel(R) I/O Controller Hub 6 (ICH6) with high speed, top performance PCI Express bus and supports the new 90nm process Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 Processor with LGA775 socket, Hyper-Threading (HT) Technology and system bus of 800/533MHz for greater system performance. Dual Channel of DDR2 400/ 533MHz in two DIMM slots allow a flexible memory configuration of up to 2GB RAM.

PCI-755 915GV SBC

I/O features of the PCI-755 include a 32-bit/33MHz PCI Bus, onboard Dual Gigabit LAN via PCI Express , LPC, EIDE Ultra ATA/100, 4 Channels SATA at up to 150MB/s ,USB 2.0, Mini PCI card slot, UART compatible serial ports, parallel port, floppy drive port, and PS/2 Keyboard/Mouse port. The PCI-755 is designed to run Windows 2000/ XP and Linux operating systems as well as embedded real time applications.

The PCI-755 implements the Intel(R) Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 900 to provide tremendous visual quality (2048 x1536x8bit resolution at 75Hz), versatile display options, and 3D performance. Target applications for the PCI-755 are industrial servers, industrial automation, medical applications, multimedia, broadcasting, Telecom, and the Industrial Testing market.
